HNN was started by two former school teachers, Mark Hall and Kevin Smith in 1999. Since then, we’ve grown to become the largest independent retail site provider for Herbalife distributors. (Thanks!).
We thought it would be nice to give you some more information about the HNN team.
Mark Hall – Mark was born and raised in south-eastern Kansas. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Education from Emporia State University (Emporia, KS) , and a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Friends University (Wichita KS). He taught high school business and computer classes for 10 years, and still gets called to fix computers from time to time.
Mark and his wife Regina have been married for 16 years and have four children, whom they homeschool. They currently live in Howard, KS, and desperately need to paint their home, which was built in 1879. Mark enjoys reading, traveling and geeking around with computers. Mark and Zach work out of a small office in Mark’s garage.

Kevin Smith – Kevin is a native of Miami, Oklahoma, a small town in the extreme northeastern part of the state. Kevin and his wife Kathy have been married for 31 years (wow!) and have three children. Kevin worked for AT&T 11 years before leaving the company and moving his family to Ashland, Oregon, where he attended Southern Oregon University and graduated with a degree in English. Kevin accepted a high school teaching position in Howard, KS, where he taught literature and composition to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Currently, Kevin, his wife Kathy, and their youngest daughter Laura live in Bartlesville, OK. Kevin still teaches American literature and composition part time at Wesleyan Christian School. When he’s not in the classroom, he works with Mark and Zach through his home office just a few miles west of Bartlesville.
Zach Fry – Zach is a native Elk Falls, Kansas, a “living ghost town”, and home of the world famous outhouse tour. He is a former homeschooler and a graduate of Hard Work U (really!), where he majored in Computer Information Science, Graphic Design, and Business Administration. Zach and his wife Laura have applied to participate in a school with an organization called Youth With a Mission (YWAM), and will leave April 7 for a new adventure in their lives. They will spend three months participating in a Discipleship Training School (DTS) and then three months doing outreach overseas.
Zach is an outstanding photographer, and enjoys hiking, swimming, and spending time with friends and family.
