Around the beginning of November 2012 I noticed that I'd put on some weight, shock horror! And even more shock horror- this placed me in the Obese category ARGHHHHH!

I started to search around for a new diet plan to fail at (such was my low opinion of myself at the time). I'd already tried weightwatchers,slimming world to no avail, despite doing all that was required.

Clearly, the time had come to show my body some serious respect.

I happened to notice on Facebook that people were talking about something called Herbalife.

Now, let me tell you something: I am THE biggest sceptic out there. Seriously.
I somehow got persuaded to go to a HOM (Herbalife Opportunity Meeting) by my now Sponsor, Andrea.

I was introduced to Herbalife,  and thought well, it might be something that I could do BUT I know how to lose weight- stop eating cakes, chocolate, chips and curries, drink more water and exercise so why do I need these products?

The answer to these questions became clear while I listened and giggled and got emotional, at what I was hearing.

Yes, if I did all of the above, I could lose weight but would my body sustain it long term? No. Why? Because I wouldn't be getting the core nutrition that Herbalife is famous for.

So I signed up for Herbalife, ostensibly for a month as I really couldn't afford the products. It cost £94, I received products valued at £80 (but that I would place closer to £800 value), a branded bag and lots of literature, all designed to help me with my new lifestyle.

And I still wasn't 100% of the Distributor lark either.

However, I figured that the 25% discount would come in handy anyway, regardless of what I did with the literature.

Then I was blown away by the sheer force that is David Bevan, 30K Presidents Team Member (that means he earns 30K a MONTH), at a Premium HOM- again having thought long and hard about whether I wanted to be there or not but having decided to go anyway.

This hilariously funny, but oh so serious and dedicated welshman, got me all fired up and suddenly I had the craziest urge to really go for it in 2013 and get serious about Herbalife enough to want to earn some money for myself.

I began to dream BIG you see and the thing about dreams is, they do come true.

In December 2012, I loved the products that much I'd progressed from Distributor to Senior Consultant AND the aforementioned hubby is now also using Herbalife products and I can see the beginnings of a yummy six pack ;-)

You are now reading this blog in February 2013 and I've done the unthinkable: lost 20lbs in weight so far and I feel absolutely amazing. My hair,skin and nails are so much shinier,clearer and stronger. For the first time in years I have 'enjoyed' two regular cycles as well (and this is the bit that makes me so so happy-honestly you probably don't know how much better I feel knowing I am helping my body get better after 3,nearly 4 years of problems); my moods have improved because my blood sugars are stable and my migraines and asthma have ceased to be an issue.

I threw away both sets of meds in January and a recent Asthma check revealed my peak flow is now the best it has ever been!


AND: Just yesterday, I was made a Qualified Producer! May I remind you that I only started this in early November?!
