Funny or Die History of Exercise Video With Michelle Obama

The good, the bad, and the ugly — when it comes to fitness trends over the years, Funny or Die is reminding us about them all.  To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition, Funny or Die released a hilarious new video demonstrating the history of exercise starring Nick Offerman and Michelle Obama.

In "The History of Exercise," Nick convincingly goes through major trends from the jiggling machines of the '50s to the Shake Weight of yesteryear.  As he becomes fatigued, however, Michelle shows up to give him some much-needed motivation — further proving that the FLOTUS is an ideal workout buddy.

Watch the video, above, for an eye-opening look at how far we've come.
