IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME

Wow it's been a long time!  As you can tell, I am not much of a blogger!  But that is going to change now...I wanted to share a few words of encouragement with all of you that have in some form or other made contact with Herbalife products and those of you that are still unsure about Herbalife.  Whether it be for weight loss, weight gain or a healthy lifestyle.  However my focus today is on weight loss.

Some of us start and never stop taking the products, some only take the products to lose a few pounds and never touch the products again, others never give up on the products, they become a part of the daily routine.  Well, I haven't exactly been behaving, I still have a shake for breakfast but not every day do I have two shakes.  Believe me I need the second shake because I have not yet reached my goal.  I am trying once again to be good and follow the weightloss programme like I should.  I know my excuse for not doing it right, just lost a little will power along the way but I am getting back on track now.

What is your excuse?
The products don't work.
I am not losing weight fast enough.
They are too expensive.
I have reached a plateau.

All of the above have an answer.  The products do work, you have to be committed, dedicate yourself to improving your well being.  After having the products for a few days you will feel the difference.  You will want to feel that way everyday. The products only do not work if you do not have them regularly.  How fast do you want to lose weight?  Losing weight too quickly is not the answer.  Ask yourself how long it took for you to put on the weight, you should give yourself the same amount of time to lose it. A good steady and healthy weight loss is about 1-2lbs a week.  In the first couple of weeks, most of us will lose a lot more but that is because your eating habits have suddenly changed.  Any concerns you have about your weightloss should be discussed with your distributor.  That is what we are here for...to help you, support you and encourage you to keep strong and focused and to applaud you when you have done really well.

There are hundreds of weight loss diets promising quick weight loss that sound ideal when you want to drop a few pounds for an event that is only weeks away.  Unfortunately, most of these diets promote methods that are unhealthy and dangerous for our bodies.  To achieve a weight loss of one to two pounds per week, you need to reduce your calorie intake by at least 500 calories per day.  Depending on your diet, this may be as easy as cutting out one high calories indulgence, or you may need to reduce calories across your day by choosing low calorie foods and reducing portion sizes.

I think that is enough for today.  I hope I have answered two of the questions, I will be back tomorrow to answer the others!  Enjoy your day and enjoy your healthy lifestyle!

Talk to you soon!

An extensive questionnaire generated responses from more than 200 U.S. Herbalife Independent Distributors about their weight-loss programs and results. They reported weight loss ranging from 4 pounds to 167 pounds and a reduced body mass index (BMI) of 1.5 points to 24.1 points, suggesting that consumption of Herbalife® products is associated with weight loss and improvement in BMI in those ranges.
